Is It Fear....

Nobody there to
walk with her to school.
When she's feeling lonely
she doesn't know who to talk to.
When she needs a friend
nobody wants too.

But..
Is she scared of what people are going to
say
ABOUT HER
She is a church mouse.
When nobody is around her...
Is she really a sandal,
walking the through sand?
Is she wild
when she has people to hang with.
OR
Is she a type of person
That needs to meet new people to change..

Glass By Ellen Hopkins

` The book Glass By Ellen Hopkins is a very outstanding book. The book is about a girl name Kristina Snow and she has been going so much .When she was in High School and the age of 15 she was rape. In the continuation of the book Impulse is the book called Glass.The book, Glass picks up a year later.She lives with her mother and works at a 7–11. Depressed about her post-baby figure, she goes back on speed to lose weight. Her mother kicks her out and gains custody of the baby. She continues to spiral to the last page, which sets readers up for a third novel. Kristen goes through slot with her friends ex- boyfriends , former boyfriend and having a kid. Kristen that she has made a lot of mistakes and wants to change . But she can't because of the people she hangs out with( bad influence). Kristen then notice that she wishes that she never had to let go of her ex, because he was a good person. Her former boyfriend abuses her and got her pregnant and that's was is distorting her life. I haven't got far in the book, but i will keep ya updated.

Who knew that it could come down to

We had a new and improve President
Who was it,

Inaugural Poem" Praise Song for the day" By:Elizabeth Alexander

What I think the title for the inaugural poem, "Praise Song for the Day" means that we should be thankful for everyone that made in change in the passed history, like Mr.Luther King, Malcolm X and many more. We should thank them because that what made Barack Obama be the first African-American President in all time. This poem made me feel is every generous for what we have today and thankful for all the help we are going to have and also the bad thing that happen back then and because of the hero back then we have the better future."I know there’s something better down the road.We need to find a place where we are safe.We walk into that which we cannot yet see", Elizabeth Alexander said, I like this quote from the poem because it talks about hope and love and that's what Obama campaign is all about. The poetic device that the poet uses in this poem is free verse. This poem relates to Obama in his life and the inauguration because it all about hope and love and that what we need in this to make a big change. The theme of this is Hope, Change. This poem relates to something in our life which means the future because the poem relates to Obama and Obama relates to us because he the future of us.

Theme in the book "To Kill A Mockingbird"

Some major themes in the book ,To Kill A Mockingbird is don't be racist and courage. The author of this book , To Kill A Mockingbird reveals the theme of the book by showing all the problems that happen through out the book, For example, the case of Tom Robinson, Atticus standing up for him, and slowly through out the book people start to disgracing Atticus just because he his defending Tom Robinson. One lesson that the charters will learn in this book is that the more you care about someone the more they care about you. A lesson that Harper Lee wants us to know by the end of the book is never give up in what you want and always have courage in what you believe in.

Dear, Mom, Staff of 339.

The biggest accomplishment I have done in E.L.A so far in this year are many accomplishment but so far I have done getting a A+ in the first making period, doing a great job that why I got an A. I accomplished a lot in the compare and contrast essay. One of my favorite unit so far was the compare and contrast essay. I think I did a good job in that unit because I was comparing Barack Obama and John McCain. What we did in that unit was write an essay.We been using the technology very much this year in many ways, like the school we have been using the cis339online.org wed site , goggle doc , goggle email, Ning.com, and as am using now Blogger.com. Technology has help us with a lot of thing because the internet is way better then writing on paper and it has help us with reading and writing, etc. My goal for the rest of the school year are, getting A+ in every class,pass to the 9th grade (HIGH SCHOOL) , Learn as many things as I can so I can be somebody in the future.

Election Relection

What made this election historic was that Barack Obama won and never in the history of all the election a African-American men won the electon to become president. What this historic election mean to me that Barack Obama won mean to me that it is good and I'm very excited that he won because since Barack Obama is democrat everyone know that there is going to be a big change and I feel that also the United States feel the same way as I do. As Barack Obama the new president of the U.S I feel that on Jan,20,2009 Barack Obama is really going to make a change and big ones too. For the next 4 years I predict that he is going to be the first African-American that soon make a change and everything will not be the same. Includding to that tough I feel that he would make Health Care much better and many more. As a citizen of the U.S I will love for Barack Obama to take care of the our education first because as everyone knows Barack Obama has kids and everyone want the best for their kids , so I know that he will solve that problem first. I do think that Barack Obama will pressure and live up to all Barack Obama choses because as far as I know I know that Barack Obama will do all the best choses and make the United States so much better to live in.
